A disturbing video has surfaced showing protesters brutally attacking white bystanders in Charlotte.

The mob is dragging and beating a man who is begging for mercy, while an unconscious photographer was almost tossed into a fire and a CNN correspondent was slammed to the ground in the midst of the chaos.

The riots started after the deadly shooting of Keith Lamont Scott, 43, by an African-American cop, Brentley Vinson, 26, at an apartment complex on Tuesday afternoon.

According to police reports, 44 people were arrested for assault, breaking and entering, and failure to disperse. At least 14 people were hospitalized, among which five cops.

State of emergency was declared by North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory who called in the National Guard after clashes on Wednesday night.

Companies with officers in the downtown area like Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Duke Energy, gave their employees a day off on Thursday.

In order to take control, Charlotte Mayor Jennifer Roberts had considered implementing a curfew, but the police said that the restrictions aren’t needed.

Roberts also added that the video of the police shooting will be shown to the Scott’s family on Thursday, but it won’t be released publicly.

The members of the #BlackLivesMatter movement must acknowledge that violence won’t resolve anything. They need to remember how Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. handled a peaceful protest and implement his ways.
